Chef Sandra Bussey is a Korean American born and raised in Texas. She attended California Culinary Academy in San Francisco and continued to hone her skills in NYC. When Sandra returned to Dallas, she was a private chef and then decided to go back to her roots and open her own restaurant, bbbop Seoul Kitchen, in collaboration with her husband, Chef Greg Bussey, and brother, Steve Shin. bbbop Seoul Kitchen first opened in 2008 and features Korean food with a modern fusion twist and has since grown to three locations in Dallas. Her restaurant portfolio expanded further to include two other concepts including Tacoria, featuring authentic street tacos, and Chicken Moto, featuring the award-winning "Not Your Mamas Fried Chicken" from bbbop. Chef Sandra has two beautiful children and their family is very active in the Oak Cliff community.
