The song Rowdy Roo was inspired by my family dog named Rowdy. Rowdy was a special dog and if he could have, he would have, shared several of his tail wagging adventures. As a therapist and songwriter, I’m always looking for ways to assist clients in learning various concepts. In that way, Rowdy Roo was a natural way for me to honor an adventurous pet and give clients a fun way to identify places, answer “WH” questions while finding Rowdy. I’ve used the song and workbook with several clients and had fun singing, identifying pictures/places, while looking for Rowdy. So, give Rowdy Roo a try and let us know what you think.
