It’s a new year! All of us at KidLinks hope you had a wonderful (and restful) holiday! I not sure if anyone else shares this feeling, but it was a little challenging for me to get back into the routine again after the holidays. However, the days keep on moving so I have to get back at it! To start off this year I created a new winter-themed intervention that provides opportunities for the client(s) to follow directions, identify pictures, and identify pictures corresponding to words heard in the song. If you’re working with a group, you could also address turn-taking by designating 1 client to perform 1 specific task. Below is a video with the visual aids that move with the corresponding task, which can be used in telehealth sessions. However, if you’d like to use this in in-person sessions feel free to print it out and adhere fasteners to each piece.
