Happy Holidays! We are in the thick of holiday season and it seems to be flying by! I love this time of year and it’s so fun to incorporate the holidays in my sessions. Personally, winter is my favorite season, so to talk about the cold weather, snow, hot chocolate, etc. is just extra special. This month I created a songwriting intervention with part of the song “Frosty the Snowman” by Perry Como. I love this song because there’s so much you can do with it and it’s fun to see what the clients create with their song. In this intervention I took out a few descriptive words so that the client(s) can fill in what they would like to say. You could even have extra paper and markers nearby and they can draw their Frosty creations at the end. It’s so fun to see what they come up with and how their imaginations work. Let us know if this is something you can use in your own sessions and how it goes. Happy Holidays from the KidLinks team!

With a ____________ _____________ and a ____________ nose
And two eyes made out of ________________
Frosty the Snowman
