Music therapy has gotten a lot of attention within the Autism community as kids with ASD often experience benefits from music therapy services. Even though we do see kids with ASD, we also see kids with other needs here at KidLinks. The range of music therapy is so varied that it can often get confusing on who exactly can benefit from music therapy services. Music therapy can address many different things ranging from depression and anxiety to developmental concerns to gross motor skills to grief and trauma. For the blog this month, I created a visual that depicts that different situations in which a child could benefit from music therapy services.
