When you saw the title, some of you probably thought it would be about sharing, or social awareness. But instead, it’s about moving our bodies!
One thing I appreciate most about being a music therapist is watching families bond through music, especially when music therapy has helped open that door.
The idea for Hippopotamus came to me one day while I was sitting waiting for the students to return from recess before beginning our music therapy session.
Breathe In Breathe Out was highly influenced by a special little guy in my life who needed extra help with anger management due to sensory integration issues.
