How do you celebrate your birthday? Take a second to talk about how each person celebrates their birthday differently. Do you have any family traditions? Materials needed:

• Brown paper bag
• Paint
• Glue
• Pom poms
• Gems
• Tapes

Directions

1. Take a brown paper bag and cut down the side and cut off the bottom
2. Lay it flat and use scissors to zig zag off the top
3. Place the paper around the child’s head and add a few inches to complete the crown Decorate with glitter, glue, gems, pom poms and paint
4. Once the crown is dry, shake off the glitter and place it around a child’s head Use a piece of tape to help secure the ends in place
